Een huis komt er pas in als het iets eigens heeft.
Een windmolen die we tot groepshuis verbouwden, boshuisjes tussen de bomen in Rekem, een hoeve met panorama over het heuvelland en suites aan de Maas. We kijken naar wat een huis eigen maakt, niet naar het aantal slaapkamers. Voldoet een huis alleen aan de lijst, dan nemen we het niet op.
We blijven in één gebied: van de Maasoevers in Belgisch Limburg tot het heuvelland van Zuid-Limburg, met de Hoge Kempen aan de rand. Zo weten we welk terras de ochtendzon vangt, waar om zeven uur de bakker opengaat en welk pad na regen modderig wordt.

Fijn contact, vriendelijk! Huisje was heel schoon en stijlvol ingericht. Van alle gemakken voorzien! De kachel brandde al toen we aankwamen, heerlijk!

We waren hier met ruim 30 graden en dan zou airco een mooie aanvulling op het heerlijke verblijf. Nu deden we de ramen open met als resultaat veel vliegen. Maar is een klein puntje.
